On Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 9 am the NGO PLANETE PAIX section – Gbêkè organized a book club. This activity organized in collaboration with US Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire, was about the following topic “Marketing : what use is it for a better visibility of your company”. The panelists of this Book Club were Mr. KONÉ Tanyo Boniface and Miss Marie France KOFFI Aya.The first panelist, Mr. KONE presented his book that is useful “The purple cow : make your brand, your products, your remarkable company” with author Seth GODIN. Mr. KONÉ made a brief presentation of the book “The Purple Cow”, and the author “Seth GODIN”. Indeed, Seth GODIN, is a well known author in the field of marketing. Through his book, The Purple Cow, the author gives us the keys to a good marketing. It identifies how and why to be outstanding in the market and in business. Finally, Mr. KONE, through the book of Seth GODIN made a comparison of the purple cow to an individual who seeks work with his CV. For Seth GODIN the purple cow is your business, it’s your brand, it’s your product, it’s you. So, make it or yourself exceptional, and you will have greater visibility. The second panelist, Miss KOFFI Marie France also presented the book entitled “StoryBrand : Making your mark and make your voice heard” and the author, Donald MILLER. The author through the SB7 method shows us how to be seen, heard and he starts from a series of stories to illustrate the SB7 method. Donald MILLER identifies through the customer’s story, the role of a customer, the place given to a customer during a marketing. StoryBrand by Donald MILLER is reliable way to script your brand to help you clarify your message and make you see, hear and understand because according to MILLER in StoryBrand: “If you’re confused, you’re screwed.”

PLANETE PAIX, administrative authorities, religious organizations and other youth organizations are thinking in Yamoussokro about eradicating hate speech. The opening work of the youth capacity building program to resist hate speech was launched this Wednesday, May 8, 2019 by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in cooperation with Félix Houphouet Boigny Foundation for the Search for Peace at the Regional Center for Education for Culture of Peace (CRECP).
Indeed, during this first day the capacities of the participants were strengthened in the culture of peace and tolerance domain. They were also introduced to adversarial, democratic and constructive debate in order to avoid crises related to the proliferation of hate speech.
This workshop that will be held on May 8, 9 and 10, 2019, began at 8:30 am with a series of speeches. PLANETE PAIX, in accordance with its mission of peace, take part in to make its contribution and benefit from the experiences of the other participants. The debates were enriched by the quality of the participants coming from various horizons. The presence of Imams, media men, research professors and students was noted. Other participants came from the Citizens’ Action Movement for Reconciliation and Social Cohesion in Côte d’Ivoire (MACRECOSCI) and the International Red Cross.
As part of the speeches, Dr. Diénéba DOUMBIA, the Director of the Research Department for Peace, spoke on behalf of ISESCO, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and on behalf of the Felix Houphouet Boigny Foundation for the search for peace. She fixed the context in which this workshop takes place and the interest of the theme “the development of the capacities of young people to resist the discourse of hatred” regarding the current political situation in Cote d’Ivoire. Afterward, the Senator KONAN Gbeugré Yao welcomed the celebration of this workshop and also encouraged the organizers.
The first day allowed the participants to discover key concepts and exchange practical experiences through two (02) films and four (04) communications: hate speech: context, concept and reality, the use of the values ​​of the culture of peace for prevent hate speech, hate speech on the Internet, violence, radicalization and cyberterrorism and the role and responsibility of actors in the prevention and fight against hate speech.
Finally, the participants met in a working committee and pracised contradictory debate. To end, they determined the levels of responsibility of the different components of society for a democratic, peaceful, more tolerant and a non hatred world.

RAPPORT ATELIER NAT. ISESCO version finie

The President of PLANETE PAIX, Achille COMOE honored in Lagos, Nigeria for his actions in favor of Peace, Security and Sustainable Development in Côte d’Ivoire and Africa by the Non-Governmental Organization LIFT AFRICA. Indeed, LIFT AFRICA is a youth-led organization that focuses on transforming African youth with inspirational words and quotes as part of the annual Summit of Greatness program. For Achille COMOE, this gives the measure of the efforts that must always be made for the final victory of peace over crises, conflicts, war ; for security within our states and between our states to embrace sustainable development. This distinction was made on the sidelines of the YALI TECHCAMP RECONNECT set up by former President Barack Obama and initiated by the US State Department. The objective is to better equip young leaders to advance good governance, through new strategies, technological innovations. This Tech Camp held from March 26 to 30, 2019 brought together 46 Alumni from 15 countries. It should be noted that the Tech Leaders present at this international meeting are already impacting their communities in their field of activity.

As part of the contribution of the Civil Society in the work on the Voluntary National Review PLANETE PAIX participated on Friday March 03, 2019 in the Plateau District Hall to an information and communication workshop of civil society actors on the SDGs. The Organization was represented for the occasion by the President of COCODY M. KOI ALEX. For more efficiency of our actions consultations will be done as well in the economic capital that is to say in Abidjan as in the city of Bouaké. At the end of these consultations, civil society actors will take part in a capitalization workshop. The President of ISCODD-CI emphasized the uniqueness of the Voluntary National Review. In other words, there is a single document to be presented in New York. This review will contain all the actions carried out by all the actors of Sustainable Development. To do this, these national consultations will be used to capitalize on the achievements and to collect the innovative experiences observed on the ground. The preparation of this document takes into account the following Sustainable Development Objectives : objectives 4-8-10-16-17 and the reports of other actors.

Mr. KOUASSI Hoba, representing Mr. ATTAH Ossouh Camus of the Ivorian Workers Party, received on Monday, February 25, 2019 a certificate and a book on Leadership and personal development entitled ” TROUVER SON POURQUOI ” for his participation to the Young Champions Summit in November 2018 as a panelist at the American space at Felix Houphouet Boigny University. The mission of official delivery of these documents was made by Mr. FOFANA N’godji, President of PLANETE PAIX Adjamé section, who thanked PIT for its contribution to the success of the Summit.
