The Central President of PLANETE PAIX started the American program “IVLP Youth and Civic Engagement” today January 25, 2021. The participants discussed during the first day the technological session before the project.
They had the opportunity to resolve technical issues and review the initial logistics and technical aspect of the project.
The goal of the pre-project technical session was to make sure that everyone can access Zoom meetings and use the simultaneous interpretation functions without problems. This session also offered the opportunity to meet the project team and all colleagues, other participants.

This report from the Observation Mission (OM), covers all aspects of the 2020 electoral process, while the electoral process is still proceeding. Essential phases remain to be accomplished, in particular the announcement of the preliminary results by the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) and the handling of possible disputes before the proclamation of the final results by the Constitutional Council (CC). The (MO) is only able to comment on their observations made so far in the process.

COTE Dโ€™IVOIRE: A POLITICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE HAS OPENED ITS DOORS

A sub-regional political training institute intended to train future political elites, was officially launched on Friday January 8, 2021 in Abidjan in the presence of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara and several personalities and NGOs including PLANETE PAIX.
This Institute, which bears the name of the former Ivorian Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, was created, according to its promoters, to perpetuate the values embodied by him and to contribute to the training of young people in the political or associative field.

On January 4, 2021, PLANETE PAIX was invited to an information meeting with the Minister of Youth and Youth Employment. Two items were on the agenda:

– Miscellaneous
The Minister after having expressed his wishes informed the youth of the construction of a sub-regional political training institute, in favor of young members of civil society and political parties.
The objective of this initiative will be to train young people in order to equip them in political matters, in particular the management of state affairs for the improvement of the well-being of the population.
It is the municipality of Treichville which will house the institute, the official launch of which will take place this Friday at 10 am at the Hรดtel Ivoire.
