A CHAMPION TOUCH FOR PEACE, SECURITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Program has 27 Country Champions. Taken individually, they constitute focal points in their respective countries. All focal points form the Council of Countries Champions (CCC) for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development. They bring their touches to a peaceful world. The Council is an advisory body and instrument for promoting and reflecting on current issues related to Peace, Security and Sustainable Development, human rights, democracy, the environment and poverty.

The CCC is an institution of the Young Champions Program. It holds its own meetings under the chairmanship of the elected President and Vice-President. The purpose of the CCC meetings is to advise and accompany the governments of the respective countries on the above issues.
