THE YOUNG CHAMPIONS’ SUMMIT

The “Young Champions’ Summit” is a three (03) day annual and international Program promoting peace and sustainable development and addressing topical issues. It includes international summits and local programs. The international component is an experience sharing program that brings together young Leaders who already impact their communities through their actions. Participants work in various domains. Certain fight against climate change, some against violent extremism and terrorism, other against Corruption and still other for promoting women empowerment etc. The Program aims at strengthening their capacities through panels and internships related to their scope of action. So, after the Summit, participants focus on specific subject among the topics covered through local programs regarding their mission and give feedbacks through platforms dedicated to the program.

130 YOUNG CHAMPIONS HAVE ARRANGED A TIME IN COTE D’IVOIRE ON NOVEMBER 15, 16, 17, 2018 FOR PEACE, SECURITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

130 Young Champions from around 20 nationalities have arranged a time on November 15, 16 and 17, 2018 as part of the Young Champions program in Abidjan-CΓ΄te d’Ivoire to contribute to peace, security and offer solutions for sustainable development.

Indeed, the “Young Champions’ Program” is an annual theoretical and hands-on program of 03 days of capacity building, training, awareness, youth empowerment, experience sharing for peace, security and sustainable development. It integrates international and national youth forums for a better sharing of experience on topical issues. Acts from the program allow participants to impact their communities more effectively. It includes panels and internships of 4 hours in departments or institutions to allow trainees to enrich themselves with hands-on experience and know-how.

The Season 2 to be held on November 15, 16, 17, 2018 in CΓ΄te d’Ivoire is intended to reduce corruption, provide prevention tools and technical solutions to combat climate migration and deforestation, limit rise of violent extremism and terrorism and to encourage women’s initiatives for their empowerment within the community.
