As part of its awareness tour for peaceful presidential elections, the Youth Parliament of CΓ΄te d’Ivoire (Bingerville Section) organized, with the participation of YoungMotivators and PlanΓ¨te Paix CΓ΄te d’Ivoire, on Sunday 04 October 2020 in the municipal library of the Bingerville youth center a public conference.
Invited to communicate on “the role of Ivorian youth for peaceful elections”, the speaker, Doctor Erick Amani, PlanΓ¨te Paix CΓ΄te d’Ivoire Country Champion, called on young people to be responsible citizens.
For the speaker, it was a question of indicating that no society concerned about its development and respect for the dignity of each human being can flourish in violence. For him, as much young people are a major asset of cohesion and development, they can constitute a considerable barrier to the general development of society if their education is not strategically oriented towards tolerance which grants a space of choice to acceptance and expression of difference.
This message of promoting tolerance and the uninterrupted quest for stability found an attentive ear among the youth of Bingerville.
