Our Country CΓ΄te d’Ivoire is one of the countries chosen this year 2019, to present their annual review. PLANETE PEACE will participate in the preparation of CΓ΄te d’Ivoire’s contribution to the place of volunteering in achieving the SDGs with UNDP with other CSOs. Indeed, as part of the monitoring of the SDGs, each year a number of States come to present their National Voluntary Review (RNV) on the occasion of the High Level Political Forum which meets in July at the United Nations Headquarters in Paris. New York. These reviews help to track progress in achieving the SDGs in countries, identify lessons learned and gaps. Each country will present at least two journals by 2030. In 2019, 51 countries will present their NVR. For each Forum, the United Nations identifies a specific theme around which national journals should focus, and SDGs to review. For 2019, the theme of the Forum is “Empowering People and Ensuring Inclusion and Equity” and a focus is on five SDGs: SDG 4 “Quality Education”, SDG 8 “Decent Work and Growth Economic Development “, SDG 13” Combating Climate Change “, SDG 16” Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions “and SDG 17” Partnerships for Achieving Goals “(SDG 17 is reviewed annually) .
